The Friends of Swampscott Public Library is participating in the national day of giving, #GivingTuesday, on November 29. Our annual, end-of-year fund drive will continue throughout the month of December. Please join us in supporting the Library!

Your tax-deductible donation to the Friends funds the following:

  • Funding for the New Library Website
  • Children’s Room programming, including Summer, Virtual Programming and Family Night
  • Teen programming, including art classes and a teen advisory board
  • A wide range of Adult programming and activities, including guest lectures, a ukulele group and several themed book groups
  • Annual SwampyCon event
  • Author events
  • Maintenance of several Little Free Libraries in town
  • Passes to local museums
  • A monthly newsletter
