Support the Friends on #LibraryGivingDay!
#LibraryGivingDay (April 7, 2021) is a one-day fundraising event with the goal of encouraging people who depend on and enjoy public libraries to donate to their individual library system.
The Friends of Swampscott Public Library are joining library groups across the country and asking for your support on #LibraryGivingDay. This campaign reminds us that libraries, small and large, serve as a cornerstone for our communities. In addition to well-loved books, many libraries offer innovative programs that promote lifelong learning.
The past year has been a year like no other and our library staff worked extremely hard to stay open, offering walk-up lending service and a wide variety of virtual programming, including numerous, well-attended zoom events.
